About MeI spent the first 18 years of my life in Cincinnati having adventures in the "woods" around my neighborhood. I had dreams of becoming a falconer when I grew up, inspired by Jean Craighead George’s My Side of the Mountain of course. When I realized that falconry isn’t as common of a profession as I once thought, I settled on being an ordinary scientist. Now I am working for a nonprofit in Colorado dedicated to inspiring environmental stewardship through natural science education.
In my free time, I spend every minute outside hiking, backpacking, kayaking, or just hanging out in a hammock with a good book. Many of my hobbies have been inspired by my dad, who unfortunately doesn't have a Facebook to see all my adventure pictures, so I decided to make this blog! |
